Q: Hey, I love the site… I used to a lot of this stuff back in my bachelor days… But, now I’m married, can you tell me how this is different for someone who’s married? Should I try to hide my marriage… What if they ask me? Girls always ask guys my age if I am married. Will it decrease my chances of getting a date if they find out? I mean, I am in the process of getting divorced… I mean things are going bad and we’ve talked about it… and we will do it… but… how do I go through all the explanations about what is happening and why etc…
A: Actually, believe it or not, it will INCREASE your chances… there is something magnetically attractive to women about a “taken man”… And most of them don’t mind… if anything, they want to steal you from “your woman”… But *I* mind… what are you doing thinking about how to get dates and how to approach women before the marriage is officially over? Just have patience… Make it official and complete… Until you can officially say “was married”, just settle down, have patience… Stick around, maybe read one of the books on how to talk to women, study this stuff… and then, when it’s time and you’re ready you can go and start applying it.
