For some reason we keep seeing a lot of interest about approaching girls in the grocery store, or about chatting up a girl in the supermarket. And it doesn’t surprise me at all. Heck, even people who’ve taken my personalized secret quiz, email me and ask me about this topic! I think the main reason is that… Stores like these tend to be the perfect middle ground between bars and the streets. Every single heterosexual man on the planet has at some point wondered about how to approach that cute girl he saw outside… whether it was the bus stop, the mall, or over on the other side of that pedestrian walk. Truth is that for most men the streets are so much out of their reality, that they never even wonder or ponder how they could accomplish it.

Stores and supermarkets tend to have a more… “real” value to them so there is a significantly larger amount of men who will decide to learn how to approach at these places.

So, how do you learn to approach that girl in the grocery store?

Well, start out by not approaching her. What do I mean? What I mean is that it’s very wise to not go directly for the “forbidden fruit”. Most men who ask this question tend to not be the kind of a person who goes out and just chats up everyone… And those guys are rare!

So, the very first thing you need to is start becoming more of this kind of a guy. Chances are that if you don’t feel natural and comfortable engaging the cashier or greeter at your supermarket into a little chit-chat, there isn’t a very good chance that when you approach that cute girl in aisle 5… that you will be very charming and smooth at it.

Ok, give me the game-plan already!

Ok, here you go:

• Start by greeting the people who you see there on a regular basis, just a good day, hi and how are you will do just fine
• Once you’re fine with that, proceed to using conversation starters on some of the shoppers there (not attractive girls, but everyone else)
• Once you’re comfortable with that and find yourself unable to go into a grocery store without *naturally* finding yourself in 2-3 chit-chats with strangers… Proceed to go and start up conversations with the cute girls there.
